How long will the DJ play music?

The amount of time your DJ will play is totally up to you. Typically a DJ will play at a party for 3 hours but again it is totally up to you. This will be discussed and arranged prior to the event. If during the event you would like the DJ to play longer this can be arranged on the day for an additional fee.

The DJ will arrive within 30 mins to 1 hour prior to the scheduled start time of your event unless other arrangements have been made. Please contact us well in advance if you intend on using a playlist as anything we don’t have may take some time to get it ready.

Absolutely! The DJ will work with you prior to your event to determine the specific styles and individual requests that you’d like played. They’ll also encourage your guests to make requests to make sure they play the songs that you and your guests want to dance to.

How do you price your DJ services?

Every event we play at is unique so we create packages to reflect the unique needs of each function. Price varies based on a few important factors. The factors that dictate price are the dates, how long you want us to perform, the location and the equipment that you need. If you want to call us on 087-6173137 to discuss pricing or contact us using the form on the contact page. Generally we prefer to call you to give you a price rather than via email.

How do you handle overtime?

If you are having fun and want your DJ to play longer we would love to continue our performance. You can purchase additional time by paying overtime at the beginning of the hour. All overtime is purchased on an hourly basis and the cost for overtime is outlined when you make a booking.

We accept cash or cheque on the date of your event. In the case of parties monies must be paid prior to performance or shortly after commencing. For weddings a deposit is required on booking to confirm date. Final payment is due 7 working days prior to your wedding. Again we can discuss this with you any time and come to an arrangement which suits us both.

How far in advance do we need to book your DJ services?

The short answer to that question is as soon as possible! The earlier you get in touch the more likely you are to get the date you want. However some last minute booking can become available a mere few weeks before your event. It all depends on the dates. Generally the Summer months and December is our busiest time for bookings and it is advisable to book as early as you can to secure your date.

Do you charge for mileage or set up?

We do not charge for mileage or set up. The contracted price includes travel, set up and take down time. Our pricing is all inclusive. Unlike some other people, the price we quote you when booking is the price you pay. Obviously this does not include any overtime incurred on the night.
